The Benevolent Action Team promotes the spirit of Christ’s love and mercy within and through the congregation in every way, reminding the congregation frequently that love is the essential fruit of true faith. Confidentially advocate for the special needs of congregational members. Arrange for volunteers to serve as part of a “support team” to help members by assisting with funerals, emergencies, financial crisis, visiting shut-ins/hospital, women’s care group, and the prayer chain.
